Nick Mars

My journey with dry ice blasting began in 2011 at Mars Metals Inc., where I worked alongside my uncle and mentor. My primary responsibility was using dry ice blasting technology to remove residue and refractory coatings from molds and castings in the aerospace industry. Over time, I developed a deep expertise in this field and a passion for its potential, which ultimately inspired me to launch Crystal Clean Dry Ice Blasting and explore how this technology could be applied across many industries.

Since then, my team and I have been blessed to deliver outstanding results for a wide range of clients including power companies, oil and gas firms, real estate management companies, and manufacturing facilities. What I love most about this work is that every job is different. Each project gives us an opportunity to demonstrate just how effective dry ice blasting can be. Of course, the results aren’t guaranteed by the technology alone, they depend on the operator’s skill. It takes expertise, precision, and focus to adjust pressure, nozzles, and particle size to match the unique objectives of each job.

While I’m deeply passionate about my business, I’m even more passionate about my faith in Christ, which guides how I live, lead, and serve others. I believe in honoring God by doing the right thing in every situation, and that’s the standard I hold myself and my team to when working with clients and partners.

Outside of work, I’m a proud father to my two amazing children, Orrin and Alivia. I love spending time with them outdoors, fishing, coaching their sports teams, and serving together both inside and outside of church. One of my greatest priorities is raising them to know, honor, and love God in everything they do. I strive to teach them to be good stewards of all that God has entrusted to us, living out the principle: “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10).
